1989年、日本を代表する冒険家の舟津圭三氏をはじめとする世界6カ国で編成された国際隊が、
環境と平和の重要性を訴える目的で南極大陸横断に挑み、1990年3月に無事全員がゴール。
当時、南極横断の隊員が着用していたウエアをベースにデザインしたフリースジャケットです。
使用済みペットボトルを原料とした、
ロフト感のあるマイクロフリース素材を使用し、
高い保温力を持ちながらも軽量に仕上げています。
脇下の大型ベンチレーションが蒸気を放出し、
素早い衣服内の温度調節が可能。
防風シェルと組み合わせることで、
冬季の活用幅を広げることができます。
静電気の発生を抑える静電ケア設計を採用。
右胸と背面には、南極横断隊に参加した各国の国旗、
左腕には「TransAntarcticaExpedition」の
シリコンワッペンを配置しています。
